Fiorentina - The Divine Comedy

Project Overview A speculative Fiorentina kit inspired by Dante Alighieri’s Divine Comedy, translating Florentine cultural symbolism into a contemporary football shirt concept. Process • Explored Florentine visual culture and references to Dante in art and literature. • Developed a tonal Renaissance-inspired pattern influenced by Florentine textiles. • Reinterpreted Dante’s laurel wreath as a new crest element for the shirt. Reflection This project allowed me to connect football design with historical and cultural storytelling.
