Middlesex University Video posters
2026
A series of video posters designed for Middlesex University Volleyball match promotion. The project applied a consistent design system across motion assets, including matchday posters, full time result graphics, and next match announcements. The work combined typography, imagery, and layout logic, with AI used to translate the university sports mascot into a realistic character to strengthen visual identity and recognition across platforms.
FC Vaslui - Designed and Manufactured
2021
A self initiated project developed to understand the full sportswear pipeline. I designed the club logo and match kit under my own brand, alis., and took the project through pattern design, material selection, and manufacturing. The concept was inspired by the club’s stadium architecture and historical visual identity, translating local context into a contemporary football shirt while gaining hands on experience with production constraints and industry workflows.
Romania - Special concept
2020
A conceptual away kit inspired by Romania’s 1918 Garda Nationala military uniform. The design translates historic elements into modern sportswear through the colour palette, collar construction, sleeve cuffs, piping, and typography. The project focuses on subtle symbolism, using detail and restraint to embed national identity within a contemporary football kit.
FC Botosani - Official kits
2018
Official match kits designed for FC Botosani for the 2018–19 season. The project focused on speed and agility as a visual theme, expressed through colour blocking, gradient striping, and dynamic graphic elements. The work involved developing home, away, and third kits within league regulations, brand guidelines, and performance requirements, translating club identity into functional, modern football apparel.
CSM Vaslui - Rebranding concept
2025
This project is a complete visual rebrand for CSM Vaslui, designed to reconnect the club with its heritage while establishing a strong, modern identity. The new crest is built on a traditional shield structure inspired by the coats of arms of Vaslui municipality and county. At its centre, a stylised Moldavian auroch represents courage and regional pride, while the flowing lines beneath symbolise the rivers that cross the city. The red and blue palette draws directly from historic emblems, refined into a cleaner, contemporary system. A Chevron motif inspired by the letter V of Vaslui forms the core of the visual language. It becomes a consistent element across the identity and the kit designs, reinforcing ambition, direction, and recognisability. The project includes a redesigned crest with adaptable colour variations, and a full home, away, and third kit system. The home kit translates the Chevron into a bold red and navy statement. The away kit introduces subtle wave graphics referencing local rivers. The third kit explores a minimal black execution while maintaining the V structure. All vector assets were developed in Adobe Illustrator, with both 2D technical flats and 3D garment visualisations produced in CLO3D to ensure accuracy and realistic presentation.
Atlanta Olympics '96 project
2024
This project explores how archival sportswear can be translated into contemporary football kit design. Inspired by the Adidas anthem jackets worn by various national teams during the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, the concept investigates how a non-football garment can inform the structure, rhythm, and visual language of a performance kit. The original jackets were characterised by bold diagonal striping, dynamic panel transitions, and strong colour blocking. I analysed the construction logic and graphic hierarchy of these garments, then reinterpreted them within the technical constraints of a football kit, ensuring the outcome remained functional and wearable on the pitch. The project focused on adapting stripe direction, weight, and placement across the shirt, shorts, and socks, creating continuity across the full kit rather than treating the shirt as an isolated element. Each design maintains the visual energy of the 1996 pieces while aligning with contemporary fit, proportion, and performance expectations. Developed using 3D garment workflows, the project demonstrates my approach to research-driven design, archival reinterpretation, and translating heritage aesthetics into modern sportswear systems.
Adidas 2000's sweatshirt
2023
A conceptual football kit inspired by early 2000s Adidas football sweatshirts. The project explores the transition from training wear to match kit, reinterpreting oversized silhouettes, bold colour blocking, and iconic stripe placement into a modern football uniform. The work focused on translating nostalgia and archival references into a contemporary performance driven kit design.
Ghana - Kente cloth project
2020
A conceptual away kit inspired by Ghanaian culture and traditional Kente cloth. The design translates Kente patterns and colour symbolism into a modern football shirt through custom pattern development, collar detailing, and trim application. The project explores how cultural textiles and identity can be integrated into contemporary sportswear while maintaining performance aesthetics.
Morocco - Kaftan concept
2020
A conceptual football shirt inspired by traditional Moroccan architecture and the caftan garment. The design translates Islamic geometric patterns, architectural rhythm, and cultural dress details into a modern sportswear context. Pattern development, colour selection, and collar construction were used to merge cultural identity with contemporary football kit aesthetics.
